New study aims to extend pain relief after arm surgery

Summary

This study compares two medicines, dexmedetomidine and nalbuphine, added to a standard numbing shot for arm surgery. The goal is to see which combination provides longer pain relief after the operation. 66 adults having elective upper arm surgery will take part. The study is not yet recruiting.
