New study tests best way to block surgery pain

Summary
This study aims to find which of two nerve-blocking techniques provides better pain relief for adults having open appendix removal surgery. Researchers will compare the Erector Spinae Plane (ESP) block to the Lateral Transversus Abdominis Plane (TAP) block. The main goal is to see which method reduces the total amount of morphine needed after surgery and improves recovery quality.
