New nerve block technique tested for Post-Surgery pain relief
NCT ID NCT06409156
Summary
This study aims to see if a newer nerve block technique works as well as a standard one for controlling pain after major open abdominal surgery. It will involve 100 patients at the Cleveland Clinic who are randomly assigned to receive one of the two pain-blocking injections before their operation. The main goal is to check how easy it is for doctors to learn and perform the newer technique compared to the current standard.
