Finger clip may tell doctors if your pain shot will work
NCT ID NCT05723380
Summary
This study tested whether a simple finger sensor, which measures blood flow, could predict how well a specific nerve block would relieve chronic neck and arm pain. Researchers gave the nerve block to 92 people with chronic pain from pinched nerves in their neck. They checked if the finger sensor reading could tell in advance which patients would get significant pain relief.
