Summary
This study compares two different nerve block techniques for managing pain after laparoscopic stomach cancer surgery. Researchers want to see if a newer technique called the external oblique intercostal block works as well as the current standard for reducing pain and opioid use after surgery. The trial involves 184 patients undergoing this specific stomach surgery and focuses on pain levels, medication needs, and recovery quality in the first 72 hours.
