Nerve block tested to ease agony after complex surgery
NCT ID NCT05820997
Summary
This study aimed to see if a special nerve block given before major pancreas surgery (pancreaticoduodenectomy) could better control pain after the operation compared to standard care. Researchers planned to measure patients' pain levels, how long they stayed in the hospital, and any complications. The trial was stopped early after only two people were enrolled.
