New pain block tested for tiny hearts in surgery

Summary
This study is testing if a specific nerve block, given before surgery, can better control pain in young children having heart surgery. Researchers will use a special monitor to measure pain levels during the operation in 60 children aged 6 months to 7 years. The goal is to see if this block reduces the need for strong painkillers and helps children wake up from anesthesia faster.
