Summary
This study tested three different nerve blocks to control pain after a type of chest surgery called thoracoscopic sympathectomy. Sixty adults were randomly assigned to receive one of the blocks. Researchers measured how long it took for patients to need extra pain medicine and how much morphine they used overall. The goal was to find which block provides the best pain relief.
