NCT ID NCT07191938

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study compares two ways to block pain during and after posthectomy (circumcision) in children. One method uses ultrasound to guide a penile block, and the other uses nerve stimulation for a pudendal block. The goal is to see if the ultrasound method works just as well for pain control. About 240 children will take part, and the study will measure pain scores, need for extra pain medicine, and any side effects.
