First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at two different nerve blocks—rectus sheath block and caudal epidural block—to see which one provides better pain relief for children aged 1 to 8 after a minimally invasive hernia repair. The goal is to reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers, which can cause side effects. About 65 children will take part, and their pain will be checked at several times after surgery.
