Gallbladder surgery pain relief: which nerve block works better?
NCT ID NCT07403682
Summary
This study compares two different nerve block techniques for managing pain after laparoscopic gallbladder removal surgery. Researchers will randomly assign 124 adult patients to receive either the M-TAPA or ESPB nerve block before surgery. They'll measure which method provides better pain control, reduces opioid painkiller use, and leads to higher patient satisfaction in the first 24 hours after surgery.
