First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at how people with long-term low back pain and healthy volunteers respond to pictures of everyday situations that might be painful. Researchers measured their balance, muscle activity, and heart rate while they looked at the images. The goal was to see if people with back pain have different body reactions and if those reactions are linked to fear of movement. No treatment was given.
