Researchers probe hidden pain epidemic in autistic adults

Summary
This study aims to understand how common chronic pain and a condition called central sensitization are in adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Researchers will recruit 100 adults with ASD to complete questionnaires about their pain, sensory experiences, anxiety, and quality of life. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve future pain assessment and management for autistic individuals.
