First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at 100 adults having gallbladder removal to see if the pain from getting an IV and their anxiety before surgery can predict how much pain they will have afterward. Researchers will measure pain and anxiety with simple questionnaires and track pain levels for 12 hours after surgery. The goal is to find easy ways to identify who might need extra pain control.
