New study aims to ease phantom limb pain for amputees

Summary
This study follows 350 adults who have had a limb surgically removed to see which treatments work best for pain. Researchers will measure pain at rest and during movement right after surgery and at several points over the next year. The goal is to find more effective ways to manage both stump pain and phantom limb pain.
