Scientists probe the hidden mental toll of a rare Heart-Lung disease
NCT ID NCT07391228
Summary
This study aims to understand if and how pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a rare heart and lung disease, affects a person's thinking, memory, and attention. Researchers will compare the results of computer-based thinking tests from about 30 people with PAH to a matched group of healthy volunteers. The goal is to gather better information about this potential side effect of the disease to help guide future patient care.
