Scientists search blood for clues to deadly lung pressure disease

NCT ID NCT00098072

Summary

This study aimed to learn more about pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a rare and serious lung blood vessel disorder. Researchers compared 27 healthy volunteers and patients with PAH, taking blood samples and performing heart and lung tests. The goal was to find biological markers in the blood that could help detect the disease earlier and guide future treatment development.
