Tiny test: can a pacifier schedule help premature babies go home sooner?
NCT ID NCT07273266
Summary
This study is testing two different ways of giving pacifiers to preterm babies to see which one best helps them learn to feed by mouth. Researchers will compare giving a pacifier for 5 minutes right before each feeding versus giving it for 30 minutes at random times during the day. They hope the right method will help babies feed more effectively, gain weight faster, and leave the hospital sooner.
