Summary
This study looks at two ways to control heart rate in people with atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) and heart failure. One option uses medications, while the other involves implanting a special pacemaker and doing a small procedure to block the heart's faulty electrical signal. The goal is to see which approach works better at improving survival, reducing heart failure events, and improving quality of life. About 600 adults will take part.
