New pacemaker technique aims to prevent heart failure and death

Summary
This study is testing whether placing a pacemaker lead in a specific area of the heart (Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing) is better than the standard placement (Right Ventricular Pacing) for patients who need their pacemaker to work a lot of the time. Researchers will follow 450 patients in Korea for two years to see which method better prevents death, heart failure hospital visits, and heart damage. The goal is to find the safest, most effective way to pace the heart long-term.
