New pacemaker technique aims to cut heart failure risk

Summary
This study aims to see if a newer, more natural way of pacing the heart (conduction system pacing) is better than the standard method at preventing heart failure events in people with a common heart rhythm problem called atrioventricular block. It will involve 1,260 adults who need a pacemaker. Researchers will compare how many heart failure events, hospital stays, and procedures happen in each group over time.
