New tool aims to reduce chemo side effects in seniors with advanced cancer

Summary

This study tests a simple geriatric assessment for people aged 70 and older with advanced cancer. The goal is to see if using this assessment helps doctors adjust chemotherapy to reduce harmful side effects. About 150 participants will be enrolled, and some will also wear a FitBit and have body scans to track health and activity.
