Summary
This early-stage study tested a new drug called PA-001 in 47 healthy adults and older adults to see if it is safe and how the body processes it. Participants received either the drug or a placebo through an IV. The goal was to find the right dose for future studies in COVID-19 patients. No treatment benefit was expected for participants.
