First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tested a new drug called P1101 in 29 adults with polycythemia vera, a rare blood cancer that causes too many red blood cells. The participants were people who couldn't use standard treatments. The goal was to see if P1101 could safely control blood counts without needing blood removal. Results showed that many patients achieved stable blood levels at 9 and 12 months.
