NCT ID NCT00734110

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study followed 723 people with knee osteoarthritis who received a P.F.C. Sigma total knee replacement. Researchers collected data from exams, X-rays, and patient questionnaires before surgery and at regular check-ups for at least 5 years. The goal was to see how well the knee implant worked and to record any problems or failures. The study did not test a new treatment but gathered information on the implant's real-world performance.
