Summary

This study tested whether ozone therapy could help heal painful mouth sores caused by radiation or chemotherapy in cancer patients. Fifty-eight adults with these sores received professional ozone treatments in a clinic and used special ozone-based toothpaste, mouthwash, and gel at home. The main goal was to see how quickly the sores healed and if the treatment reduced the patients' pain.
