First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested two gels—ozone oil-based and CHX—on 100 people having lower wisdom teeth removed. Each person received both treatments in separate sessions. The goal was to see which gel better reduces pain and prevents dry socket, a painful complication. Pain was measured using a 1-10 scale, and dry socket was checked at 48 hours and 7 days after surgery.
