Can a newer drug help UC patients ditch steroids?

NCT ID NCT07271069

Summary

This study looks at how well two different drugs, ozanimod and azathioprine, work for people with ulcerative colitis who need steroids to manage their disease. Researchers will review the medical records of 150 patients in Japan to see which drug is better at helping patients achieve remission without needing steroids. The main goal is to compare the safety and effectiveness of these treatments in everyday medical practice.
