First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether a nasal spray containing oxytocin can help reduce anxiety and improve how people with central diabetes insipidus recognize emotions in others. About 112 adults with the condition and high anxiety levels will receive either oxytocin or a placebo spray for several weeks. The goal is to see if this hormone replacement can ease psychological symptoms beyond standard treatment.
