Labor speed test: which drug dose works best?

NCT ID NCT05782816

Summary

This study tested whether using a higher dose of the labor medication oxytocin helps women deliver faster and safer. Researchers compared two dosing schedules in 170 first-time mothers needing labor assistance. They measured how long delivery took, whether C-sections were needed, and monitored safety for both mothers and newborns.
