NCT ID NCT07568509

First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026

Summary

This early-stage study aims to find a reliable test for oxytocin deficiency in young people with hypopituitarism. Researchers will give a single dose of a hormone pill to 20 participants (10 with a related condition and 10 healthy controls) and measure oxytocin levels in blood and saliva after 24 hours. The goal is to develop a diagnostic tool, not to treat the deficiency.
