Breathing pure oxygen to save hips from collapsing
NCT ID NCT06931301
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a special high-pressure oxygen treatment to a hip surgery helps patients with a condition where the hip bone is dying from poor blood flow. The goal is to see if this combination better controls pain and slows down the disease to prevent the hip joint from collapsing. Researchers will measure changes in pain levels and hip function in 400 participants.
