This study watched 563 adults who had weight-loss surgery and received extra oxygen their first night in the hospital. Researchers counted how often oxygen levels fell too low and what nurses did to help, like adjusting the oxygen or waking the patient. The goal was to learn which patients might need extra attention, not to test a new treatment.
