Do different oxygen monitors change patient care?
NCT ID NCT07168213
Summary
This study aims to understand how the type of oxygen monitor and the target oxygen level affect the amount of oxygen given to patients in the ICU. Researchers will test two different brands of finger-clip oxygen monitors and two different target levels on 30 patients receiving high-flow nasal oxygen. The goal is to see if these factors lead to different oxygen settings, which could help standardize care.
