Breathing life: finding the right oxygen dose for tiniest babies
NCT ID NCT03825835
Summary
This international study aims to find the safest amount of oxygen to use when helping very premature babies breathe right after birth. It will compare starting with 30% oxygen versus 60% oxygen in about 1,200 infants born before 29 weeks. The main goal is to see which approach leads to better survival and healthier brain development by age 2.
