New oxygen tech aims to stop dangerous dips during critical procedures

NCT ID NCT07252102

Summary

This study is testing if a high-flow nasal oxygen device is better than a standard one at preventing dangerously low oxygen levels in critically ill patients during sedated endoscopy. It will involve 450 patients with serious health conditions like liver cirrhosis. The goal is to make this common procedure safer by reducing breathing-related risks.
