Scientists test painkiller through the nose
NCT ID NCT07223450
Summary
This study aimed to understand how the body absorbs and processes the pain medication oxycodone when it is given as a nasal spray compared to a pill. Eight healthy volunteers received both forms of the drug in a specific order. The main goal was to gather data to help researchers build better computer models for predicting how drugs work when given through the nose.
