Can skipping breakfast supercharge your muscles?
NCT ID NCT05420181
Summary
This study aimed to understand if a single, longer overnight fast (about 16 hours) could improve how the body processes food compared to a typical 10-hour fast. Researchers tested this in a small group of 9 healthy, active young men. They measured how the men's muscles responded to a protein drink and how their bodies handled blood sugar after the different fasting periods.
