Summary

This study tests a trauma-informed support program designed to help women with substance use disorder stay safer from overdose when they leave prison and return to the community. It will compare different levels of support, including group sessions in prison and recovery coaching after release, to see what works best. The goal is to find better ways to help this high-risk group during a vulnerable transition period.
