Lifeline for women: kentucky program aims to stop overdoses after jail release
NCT ID NCT07179614
Summary
This study tests different support programs to prevent drug overdoses among women with substance use disorders as they transition from jail back to rural Kentucky communities. Researchers will compare recovery coaching alone versus coaching combined with support from a personal contact or financial incentives for staying drug-free. The goal is to find the most effective way to reduce overdose risk during this vulnerable period and help women enter treatment.
