Sister's ovarian transplant offers new hope for women with early menopause
NCT ID NCT06673004
Summary
This study is testing whether transplanting ovarian tissue from a healthy sister can restore fertility and hormone function in women with early menopause (primary ovarian insufficiency). Ten participants will receive the transplant and take medications to prevent their bodies from rejecting the new tissue. The main goals are to see if normal menstrual cycles return and if pregnancies and healthy births can occur.
