New weapon tested in battle against advanced ovarian cancer
NCT ID NCT03393884
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new experimental drug called IMNN-001 to standard chemotherapy before surgery can better control advanced ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. The drug is designed to stimulate the immune system and is delivered directly into the abdomen. Researchers will compare the safety and effectiveness of the combination treatment against chemotherapy alone in about 130 newly diagnosed patients.
