Researchers ask: how do women weigh new cancer tests against surgery?
NCT ID NCT06436248
Summary
This study aims to understand how women with BRCA gene mutations think about new tools for assessing their ovarian cancer risk. Researchers are interviewing 24 women to learn how they might use genetic risk scores and early detection blood tests when deciding whether to have preventive surgery. The goal is to gather insights to help doctors better support women facing these complex choices in the future.
