New combo therapy aims to keep aggressive ovarian cancer at bay

Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two drugs, mirvetuximab soravtansine and olaparib, can help keep cancer from growing back in women whose ovarian, peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer has returned but initially responded well to platinum-based chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if this maintenance therapy can extend the time patients live without their cancer getting worse. The trial will also closely monitor the safety and side effects of this drug combination.
