Summary

This study tested an experimental drug called mirvetuximab soravtansine for women with recurrent ovarian, peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancers that had previously responded well to platinum-based chemotherapy. The drug is designed like a 'smart bomb' to target and kill cancer cells that carry a specific protein marker (folate receptor-alpha). The main goal was to see how well the drug shrank tumors and how safe it was for the 79 participants.
