New drug trial aims to control Tough-to-Treat ovarian cancer

Summary

This study is testing an experimental drug called mirvetuximab soravtansine for women with advanced ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer that has stopped responding to platinum-based chemotherapy. The main goals are to find the best dosing schedule and to see how well the drug shrinks tumors and manages side effects, particularly eye issues. About 110 participants worldwide will receive the drug on one of two different schedules to compare safety and effectiveness.
