Home vs hospital: new stroke care model tested for seniors
NCT ID NCT07420374
Summary
This study tests whether same-day outpatient stroke care works as well as traditional hospital stays for older adults who have mild strokes or mini-strokes. Researchers will compare recovery and safety outcomes between 400 participants randomly assigned to either outpatient or inpatient care. The goal is to see if this new approach can provide effective treatment while reducing hospital use.
