Study tests if going home same day after knee surgery improves recovery
NCT ID NCT07276061
Summary
This study looks at whether patients recover better after knee replacement surgery if they go home the same day (outpatient) versus staying in the hospital. Researchers are comparing the quality of recovery for 440 patients who had their surgery between 2020 and 2023. They want to see if newer surgical techniques and recovery plans make outpatient knee replacement a safe and effective option.
