This study looked at whether adults with mild appendicitis can safely go home within 12 hours after surgery instead of staying overnight in the hospital. 120 patients were enrolled, and the main goal was to see how many could be discharged the same day. The results help doctors understand if outpatient appendectomy is a practical option for certain patients.
