Can better training improve how future therapists talk to patients?
NCT ID NCT07333781
Summary
This study tested a new training program designed to improve communication skills for occupational therapy interns working with mental health patients. Researchers developed the program with input from experts and recent graduates, then tested it by comparing interns who received the training to data from a previous group. The main goal was to see if the training led to better communication skills as rated by experts who didn't know which interns had the training.
